Mission Statement

To create watershed health, enhance local ecosystems and improve water quality. 

To participate in programs to protect the communities, homes, businesses, farms, ranches, acequia and water infrastructure systems from flooding and sediment damages. 

To view the water resources of the valley as central to the historic, cultural, economic and ecological fabric of the communities.

Hours of Operation 

The Upper Rio Grande Watershed District's Office operating hours are as follows and may vary due to inclement weather conditions.  Please contact us to schedule an appointment in advance.

Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.                                                                                                       

Saturday-Sunday: Closed
